We reported earlier that iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus reached 16 million preorders on the first day of release on the Apple Online Store (AOS). This stunning record, however, is busted by Apple itself because the number of preorders received according to the Chinese sources was quite exaggerated.
As a listed company on the stock market, Apple responsibility announced that they reached 4 million preorders on the first day of release. Of course, 4 million itself is already a very stunning figure if it was proven to be true by the company itself. Yet, if they only received 4 million pre-orders on the first day, it may mean that Apple will have many batches of upcoming iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus to meet the huge market demand especially from Asian countries. While Apple is starting their iReserve (in-store pick up) tomorrow, it is rumoured that the remaining units of iPhone 6 Plus will be pushed to Apple Retail Store as well as other carriers for the launch this Friday.
Hong Kong speculators are getting prepared for the launch because it is anticipated that the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will earn them huge profit by selling the units to earnest Apple fans in Mainland China, which is missing out in the first and second listed countries getting the iPhone 6 shipment.
iPhone 6 is going to be launched on 19.9.2014. Apple Online Store will ship the units out at the same time.
In the press release, Apple also made clear that iPhone 6 will be available on AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon bundled with plans.
iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be available on 19.9.2014 in the United States, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong (not mainland China), Singapore and the United Kingdom. Countries such as Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Italy …etc will launch iPhone 6 as well as the its bigger models iPhone 6 Plus on 26.9.2014 as the second batch.
