Androidly System Private announced before Apple iWatch and Samsung’s Smartwatch its and the world’s first wearable Android powered phone – Androidly. The Androidly will be shipped 15.3.2013 this month. To make things different from just wearing an iPod 5th Gen, this smartwatch can make calls now!

Don’t worry, it is not expensive at all. The Adnroidly will be sold at 12,000 Indian Rupee (Around $199 USD). This Phone watch is equiped with a 2-inch 320×240 touch screen. The dimensions are 6.4 x 4.2 x1.4 cm and it’s only 160g. The company officially claims that this phone is the smallest Android Device in the world. The Androidly is a fully functional smartphone which can make calls, browse the Internet, send and receive emails. In addition, it has a 2 mega pixel camera and supports GSM 850/900/1800/1900 cellular network. However, with the limits caused by limited hardware, this watch can only run on Android 2.2 system. Yet, you get everything connected with its built-in Wi-Fi, AGPS and Bluetooth.

What we thought about iWatch was apparently too confined. We just expected iWatch to work with iPhones and Androids with bluetooth and synchronizing data. Now, Androidly shows the world that the smartwatch can be a standalone device that performs nearly everything a smartphone does. We can hence expect a brighter future of the smartwatch industry.
