iOS 6.1.1 Released By Apple – Fixes Issues On iPhone 4S, iPhone 5

When iOS 6.1 launched, users of the new update on iPhone 4S models were complaining of rapid battery drain and overheating. These issues were confirmed by thousands of users and determined to be a major bug on Apple’s end. Vodafone in the UK went as far as to tell users not to download the update just yet until they could fix the issue.

The issue might have been fixed today. Apple released iOS 6.1.1 which apparently fixed a bug related to 3G usage. This SHOULD fix the issue and leave users and carriers smiling again.

By the way, in case anyone is curious, the Evasi0n (evaci0n) jailbreak is not affected by this patch. There will probably be an update for this new OS release coming soon. Just sit tight until then.
