iTunes Has Now Sold 25 Billion Songs! RIAA Still Concerned About Piracy!

There are approximately 7 billion people on the planet. iTunes has sold 25 billion songs. Do the math. That’s about 3.5 songs for every human on the planet. Granted not every human is using iTunes, but even so. I fail to see how people are still concerned about piracy.

The song that crossed the 25 billion number mark was “Monkey Drums (Goksel Vancin Remix) by Chase Buch”. Chances are the majority of people you ask will not have heard about this. Even so, congrats to the band for this sudden surge in popularity.

The user who downloaded the song was given an iTunes voucher for 10,000 euros. Yup. piracy is a huge concern. Give me a break.
