When you first open Cydia, it will ask if you are under which of the three categories: User, Hacker or Developer. Select one, preferably User, and Cydia will start download some source for your device.
Cydia is divided into a few pages: Home, Section, Changes, Manage and Search. In “Home”, Cydia will show some important information like the version…etc. Section shows all source applications. “Changes” show the recent update of applications. Manage is for you to see some applications that you have downloaded, where you can also update, modify or delete the application. “Search” is simply to find some applications that are relevant to your search keywords.
If you would like to add some source click “Manage” – “Sources” – “Edit” – “Add”. When you finished adding the source, it will install it and appear in the section part. When you are trying to install some application after you find in it in section or search it, Here we recommend you not to quit Cydia and wait for it to complete the installation.
Usually it will restart the Cydia when installation is completed.
